Trademark

Breasts are an integral part of the female body, presenting themselves in all shapes and sizes. They are most often sexualized in our society, and therefore they are covered up by clothing. This piece symbolizes how unique women’s’ bodies are, and that we should not be ashamed of our boobs. Boobs represent individuality, femininity, and so much more. My participants for this piece were close friends, and it was a very special and intimate experience. They all trusted me with their vulnerability by taking off their tops to create these unique prints. We laughed, listened to music, and had fun in this very free state of being. Afterwards, I added charms onto both nipples of each of the prints, one symbolizing the month they were born in, and the other a representation of their personalities. Each of their experiences and prints were different, and I loved how the piece as a whole turned out.
